⁶ “‘I will grant peace in the land,^(A) and you will lie down^(B) and no one will make you afraid.^(C) I will remove wild beasts^(D) from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country.

³³ May the guilt of their blood rest on the head of Joab and his descendants forever. But on David and his descendants, his house and his throne, may there be the Lord’s peace forever.”

¹⁹ “The word of the Lord you have spoken is good,” Hezekiah replied. For he thought, “Will there not be peace and security in my lifetime?”

⁹ But you will have a son who will be a man of peace^(A) and rest,^(B) and I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. His name will be Solomon,^[a](C) and I will grant Israel peace and quiet^(D) during his reign.
